Day 39 – We’ve Come a Long Way

Fight Yourself Fit workout

fight yourself fit workoutJohn and I have come a long way in the last 39 days. We live 600 miles apart but it’s still been great to share the Fight Yourself Fit workout experience together. We’re constantly on Skype comparing diets, results and how we found the workouts on a day by day basis.

I’ve known John for about 15 years, although I’m sure he’ll say “it feels a lot bloody longer”. In all that time I’ve never seen him look as good and as healthy as he does now. I’m pretty proud of my mate and what he’s achieved. But enough about him, I’ve done well too!

Thanks to Corney and this program, we are both well on our way to smashing our fitness and weight-loss goals. It’s definitely not been easy, the workouts have been a challenge and we’ve both had days when working out was the last thing we wanted to do. But even on those days as soon we pressed play and heard Corney telling us to warm up, we were back in the zone . Who’d have thought we could have punched ourselves into shape this quickly?

Tomorrow marks the end of week six and we will hopefully have pictures to show that are more easy on the eye than week 1 and week 4 – I can’t promise you won’t recoil though – I mean we can change our body shaped, but there’s nothing we can do about our faces. 🙂

I’m off to do my fight yourself fit workout for today – Power & Speed 1 – I will be hammering the bag as hard as I can, just to see if I can lose a few more extra calories before tomorrow mornings pictures and weigh in!
