Day 9 – Another Food Photo

Boxing Diet

I’m sorry I’ve gone and done it again – I’ve posted a picture of food – last time I promise… well until next time.

As I explained in a previous post – I’m really no Chef. When it comes to me cooking chicken breasts from scratch it never seems to make a difference what I do with it, it comes out dry and horrible. That was until I found my new favourite thing –  cooked chicken breasts that you can reheat – ok this isn’t new and I’ve bought loads of cooked chicken packs over the years, but it’s never tasted as good as these.

Eat them cold or bung them in the oven for 20 minutes and they come out succulent and perfect – not dry at all. Whats the downside? Well I’m not sure the brown sugar marinade that makes these so nice when they’re cooked is overly good for you, but approx. 200 calories per breast seems ok to me.

That was my dinner last night, but will probably go for some more of that tonight – enough chatting – time for the workout.

“Speed & Power Workout 1”

I woke up feeling really good this morning and was more than ready for the workout. I jumped up to 3kg weights for the weighted punches (making sure I only punched out halfway as Corney keeps reminding us). I still find the straight punching then punching up and down the bag an absolute killer, I reckon one day my arms will actually fall off during this one.

I smashed through the press-ups and triceps exercises, it definitely wasn’t easy, but it felt much easier than last week. I felt really strong this morning – I hope this carries on for the rest of the week.

Looking forward to tomorrow – got Technique 2 “off the Jab”again.

Cheers, Steve.
