Once again, my wife thought it was hilarious to leave me hanging. I was in this position for what felt like years, only to have my wife say she didn’t realise that was the chin-up position and hadn’t taken the photo grrrr – I swear she was laughing about it for 5 minutes 🙂 .
Anyway, back at the start of my Fight Yourself Fit challenge, I also set myself a mini challenge of improving my chin-ups. Was this successful? well kind of.
I’ve been doing them in sets of 3 and on day one I managed 8 whole chin-ups
Set 1 – 3 chin-ups
Set 2 – 2 chin-ups
Set 3 – 3 chin-ups
The improvement has been very slow. But today I managed 30 – hooray – I’m not going to lie the last one did involve a lot of leg kicking, but I did it.
Set 1 – 12 chin-ups
Set 2 – 10 chin-ups
Set 3 – 8 chin-ups
Looking at the photo, I’ve spotted a negative about the whole Fight Yourself Fit workout system – it’s going to cost me a fortune in new clothes – the t-shirt and trousers are hanging of me 🙂 .
Last day tomorrow and time for Corney’s 12 Round Challenge – bring it on!
