Day 50 – 10 to 1 – DONE!

Boxing Training For Fitness

boxing training for fitnessMe posing for a press-up all the way back in week 1 – this is not how I looked during 10 to 1 today – luckily I didn’t have a camera handy as my grimacing face may well have broken the lens!

Back to technique one today – “The Basics”. At last I’ve done it. I’ve been making it my mission to get the last exercise on the technique videos up to 10to1 (normally 5to1 or 7to1) and today I cracked it. It’s a really good way to finish the technique workouts, but it is a killer. I can happily say, I’ve gone from dreading this part on the technique workout days into making it a personal challenge for myself to see how many I can do.

So in total today during 10to1 I did
55 x Press-Ups
55 x Crunches
55 x Burpee Jumps
55 x Star Jumps

It was a struggle, so I will keep it to 10to1 this week and go up to 11 to1 next week (obviously this will make all the numbers above to 66). I’m already thinking about the next time round the fight yourself fit workouts – I think I’m definitely going to have to get a target of 14to1 just so I can do over 100 of each exercise (sounds much more impressive 🙂 .

Sorry, just a quick post today, but have been busy working again – thought I would just share my achievement with you as I’m chuffed with myself for reaching my target.

See you tomorrow.

Cheers, Steve.
