Just a quick one today – I’ve been run off my feet at work, but don’t panic I still managed to fit in my 30 minutes of bag smacking. In the office I was stuck on on a bit of coding (sad I know), but I just couldn’t work it out. After an hour of racking my brains and cursing I dropped everything and headed out to the garage for my punch bag workout for today – Power & Speed 3.
Turns out the phrase “Keep Calm & Box” worked well for me. Not only did the punching calm me down, about halfway through round 5 I thought of a way around my coding problem in a “Eureka” style moment 🙂 win win.
When I first did Power & Speed 3 (way back in week 4) I found the plank to press-up pretty hard going and the bag slaps tricky too – today though I flew through it, don’t get me wrong, it was still tough, but my form was much better and I felt strong – Just 2 and a half weeks left. 🙂
