I had a slight hiccup at the weekend, I obviously got a little too carried away with celebrating my results so far. But who can blame me – the sun was out, I’d had a hard week at work and I really did need a beer.
I’d like to say I just had 3 over the weekend, but I had a few more than that!! but I expect a blow-out every now and again, in fact I think it’s good for me – although I have now made my next 3 weeks a little harder. To be honest I feel no guilt whatsoever, I’m just going to hit it harder for the next 3 weeks – the workouts that is, not the bottle 🙂
Power & Speed 2 punch bag workout today – let’s get it on!
Well, I’m thinking the beer has done me some good – I smashed through the workout, it’s the strongest I’ve felt doing the push-ups and squats. I was relentless with the power punching, hitting as hard and as fast as I could throughout the workout.
I didn’t need the minute rest in between the rounds and limited myself to just 30 secs. I’m pretty sure that the beer isn’t a new formula workout fuel 🙂 but I really do feel excellent today – lets see if I ache tomorrow!
