Day 29 – Slight Diet Blip

Diet Blip

diet blip

It’s that time again here in the UK ..the dreaded Easter holidays – I tried my best to refrain myself, but the call of chocolate was just too great. My diet was out the window for the whole weekend. With the sun out and the kids off school, I had a great time and threw caution the the wind. 🙂

But it’s Monday and its time to get back on it.. do I feel guilty about my diet blip? a tiny bit, but I’m just going to have to try double hard to burn off those extra calories and get back on track.

It’s Tech Workout 4 – “Close Up” today – see you in 30 minutes.

Well I feel better already, even more so because the sun was out – for the first time ever I might actually be in top notch shape for the beach this summer :-).

As I said earlier, I wanted to make up for my bad food weekend and today I punished myself with 8 to 1 at the end of the workout. You really wouldn’t think there would be much difference jumping from “7 to 1” to “8 to 1” – but boy was I wrong, that was really hard work.

Just a quick post today as it’s a bank holiday and the kids are still off. Easter egg hunt time now I think – don’t worry I’ve had my fill of chocolate so no more for me. 🙂

Cheers, Steve.

If you’ve had a diet blip we’d love to hear about any tips to get back on the straight and narrow!
